As we previously reported, Jordan is out and dealing with his neck issues. This was teased on television and has been an ongoing issue. With him gone, that leaves Rollins without a partner.
While some may believe going forward that Rollins would work alongside Shield ally Roman Reigns, stemming from their tag team match on ‘Raw‘ earlier this week against Sheamus & Cesaro, that is not the case.
According to Sportskeeda by way of PWInsider, Rollins will be teaming with the leader of the ‘Balor Club’ in Finn Balor- who is scheduled to face ‘Woken’ Matt Hardy, Bray Wyatt, and Apollo Crews during ‘Raw’ next week.
It is expected that Balor will make it into the match as Hardy and Wyatt are to continue their feud and Crews seems out of place at this time.
The two men have competed against each other several times over the course of their WWE career- with Balor becoming the first WWE Universal Champion back at ‘SummerSlam‘ in 2016 when he defeated Rollins for the title and most recently when Rollins defeated Balor by bringing back the Curb Stomp, renamed as the Blackout which is what he called the move in WWE developmental.
You can find a match from last year below, which features the two men teaming up to face Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe on ‘Raw.’
Does this team seem appealing to you? Who would you have team with Rollins?
