The lawsuit in question is in the state of Florida and is directly related to the sex tape. Hogan is against radio personality and host of the morning show on 1025 The Bone, Mike “Cowhead” Calta and Matt “Spice Boy” Loyd who owns the station.
Hogan alleges that Calta and Loyd were involved in “stealing, disseminating, using and exploiting illegally-recorded video.”
While the defendants had asked the judge in charge of the case to dismiss it, that motion was denied and they now have 20 days to respond.
Hogan is looking for unspecified damages, with the claim that the tape has destroyed his pro wrestling career.
Back in March of this year, Hogan won his case against Gawker to the tune of $140.1 million. Hogan had originally sued the website as far back as 2012 over publishing portions of the sex tape that was recorded without his knowledge or consent.
Following his victory, Hogan spoke on winning the case with The View and what is next for him now that he could put that behind him. We have provided that video below, so be sure to check it out.
Do you believe Hogan will win this case? What are your overall thoughts on this lawsuit?
