He is Iron Man. Injuries happen all the time in wrestling and there’s really no way around that. It happened to Dean Ambrose just a few months ago and this time it seems to be putting him on the shelf for a long time. Ambrose is known for rarely missing ring time, which brings up an interesting question: who wrestles the most without getting injured?

According to WWE analyst Chris Harrington on Twitter, Jimmy Uso is the new “Iron Man” of WWE, meaning he has wrestled the most matches in WWE (note that it’s most matches, not most time) without an injury keeping him out of action for more than 40 days. His mark is currently at 982 matches, dating back to June 4, 2010.

Here’s Uso in a rare singles match.

Jimmy Uso vs. Chad Gable: SmackDown LIVE, Nov. 14, 2017

Opinion: That’s kind of surprising and not a name you would have guessed. That being said, it does make sense when you consider how long the Usos have been around. Wrestling is a business where you’re going to get hurt a lot of the time and that seems to be the case with almost everyone as this stat would suggest.

Are you surprised that Uso now holds this honor? How long do you think it’s going to last? Let us know in the comments below.
