WWE confirmed through a “Go To Hell” blurb that Lesnar would be appearing at Monday Night Raw on October 5:
This October, on WWE Network, Brock Lesnar takes fans on the Go to Hell Tour, including a brand new stop in Boston on Monday Night Raw this Monday, October 5.
Then, this Saturday at 8 ET/5 PT, watch the historic special Live from MSG: Lesnar vs. Big Show as The Beast Incarnate returns to Madison Garden for the first time in over a decade to battle The World’s Largest Athlete. On Oct. 19 immediately following Raw, The Beast will step behind the mic and answer questions from The Texas Rattlesnake in a live, no-holds barred interview on a brand-new Stone Cold Podcast. Finally, on Oct. 25 at 8 ET/5PT, the fiercest rivalry in recent memory will continue at Hell in a Cell when Lesnar clashes with The Undertaker in Satan’s Playground!
This will come just days after Lesnar meets The Big Show at the MSG in a special televised broadcast exclusive to the WWE Network.
The event is built on Lesnar, just as the “Beast In The East” special had, and the WWE has been playing on the fact that Lesnar hasn’t competed at Madison Square Garden in over a decade.
There is a lot of history between Lesnar and Show, and Show went into some depth on that in a recent video with Michael Cole for WWE.com.
The general consensus is that Lesnar is to be declared the winner to show his dominance leading towards his match with The Undertaker at WWE “Hell In A Cell” on October 25 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA.
It was originally noted that officials wanted the final clash between Lesnar and Undertaker to be at WrestleMania 32, but officials are now considering Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin or the Rock.
Lesnar has had his fair share of controversy as of late, as today we noted that former OVW manager Kenny Bolin claims Lesnar threatened to kill him.
Editor’s Note:
I can’t wait for the final battle between Lesnar and Undertaker, but the Big Show and Lesnar match has some appeal to me too, as a long time fan. The WWE are doing a good job at trying to hype up Lesnar’s match, but I assume his appearance on Raw will be to brag about his win and hype the Undertaker match.
