- With his loss to Seth Rollins at ‘WrestleMania 33,’ Triple H now holds the record for the most losses at the event.
- The record attendance for the show was during ‘WrestleMania 32’ with an attendance record as 101, 763 fans packed into the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas.
- ‘Raw’ Superstar Goldust has competed and lost in six matches at the event.
- While The Undertaker’s streak has ended, ‘The Deadman’ owns the record for the most years competing at ‘WrestleMania’ in a row, which is now at 17 years.
- The WWE Championship is arguably the most prestigious Championship in WWE history, but it was not defended at the inaugural ‘WrestleMania.’ That said, the World Tag Team Championship, Intercontinental Championship, and Women’s Championship were all defended.
- The only time The Rock has ever pinned ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin was in the final match in their trilogy and occurred at ‘WrestleMania XIX.’
- At one 1:1:52, Shawn Michaels and Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart squared off at ‘WrestleMania XII’ in an Iron Man Match.
- It was only recently at ‘WrestleMania 32’ when The Rock would defeat Erick Rowan in six seconds to create what is the shortest match in it’s history.
- Trish Stratus has competed more times at ‘WrestleMania’ than any other female Superstar, with five appearances.
- 31 Superstars competed at the ‘WrestleMania 30’ Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal which takes the cake as the match with the most Superstars in one single bout.
- During a ‘Miss WrestleMania’ Battle Royal, WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix would eliminate 12 other Superstars but finished as runner-up.
- The Undertaker has defeated every member of Evolution at ‘WrestleMania.’
- Eleven Superstars through history have competed in two or more matches in a single event, with Rollins being the latest when he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract during the WWE Championship match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar at ‘WrestleMania 31.’
- On that note, “Macho Man” Randy Savage holds the record for competing in the most matches in one night- with four matches during ‘WrestleMania IV.’
- On that same point, Miss Elizabeth wore four different outfits during ‘WrestleMania IV.’ This was one for each match Savage participated in.
- Jake “The Snake” Roberts and Rick Rude ran the clock to a time-limit draw during the ‘WrestleMania IV’ tournament.
- Six Superstars made their debuts at ‘WrestleMania.’ These include Genichiro Tenryu & Koji Kitao at ‘WrestleMania VII,’ Big E and Fandango at ‘WrestleMania 29,’ Sting at ‘WrestleMania 31,’ and Baron Corbin at ‘WrestleMania 32.’ Ronda Rousey will be the seventh.
- John Cena is the only Superstar in WWE history to win both the WWE and United States Championships at The Showcase of the Immortals. In addition, Bret Hart and Daniel Bryan are the only Superstars to have won both the WWE and Intercontinental Championships at ‘WrestleMania.’
- Rockin’ Robin performed “America the Beautiful” for ‘WrestleMania’ while she was Women’s Champion.
- The Ultimate Warrior is the only Superstar in ‘WrestleMania’ history to be forced to vacate a title on the same show. This is because he captured the Intercontinental Championship at ‘WrestleMania VI’ and was forced to end the reign as he won the WWE Championship in the main event and he had to end one reign to start the other.
- Two variations of physical trophies have been awarded to Battle Royal winner recipients. These include a trophy Bad News Brown received at ‘WrestleMania IV’ and the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal trophy.
- Twenty-four cities across 16 U.S. states and two countries have provided the backdrop to the grandest stage of them all.
- Five Intercontinental Champions left ‘WrestleMania’ with their reigns intact but without a victory. These come from count-outs or disqualifications. The Superstars included in this list are Shawn Michaels, Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, The Honky Tonk Man, “Mr Perfect” Curt Hennig and Jeff Jarrett.
- ‘WrestleMania 2’ happened on a Monday as opposed to a Sunday. This is the only time a ‘WrestleMania’ hasn’t been on a Sunday.
- Nearly 3/4 of Champions lose their titles during the final match at ‘WrestleMania,’ with Reigns being the most recent to claim Championship gold in the last fight of the night.
- The WWE Championship has changed hands 22 times over the years during ‘WrestleMania,’ with only 12 ending with the Champion retaining.
- Nearly 1.6 million fans have attended ‘WrestleMania’ since its inception back in 1985.
- Aside from patriotic displays to open The Showcase of the Immortals, Run DMC was the first music group to perform at ‘WrestleMania.’
- Each member of The Shield has won a ‘WrestleMania’ match via pinfall. Dean Ambrose was first to do so at ‘WrestleMania 29.’ Rollins followed at ‘WrestleMania 31,’ and Reigns was last at ‘WrestleMania 32.’
- Motörhead are the only musical act to have performed a Superstar’s entrance at two separate ‘WrestleMania’ events. They did this for Triple H at ‘WrestleMania X-Seven’ and ‘WrestleMania 21.’
- Reigns is on a streak, closing ‘WrestleMania’ for the past three years. If Reigns headlines the show this year, he will tie with Hulk Hogan.
- During pre-shows, three Championships have changed hands. The Bodydonnas won a tournament finale preceding ‘WrestleMania XII,’ The Colons became the first Unified WWE Tag Team Champions prior to ‘WrestleMania XXV,’ and The Miz became the Intercontinental Champion during the pre-show for ‘WrestleMania 29.’
- As of ‘WrestleMania 33,’ there have been 389 Superstars who have competed on the grandest stage of them all.
- If Alexa Bliss can hold onto her Championship until ‘WrestleMania,’ she will tie Victoria and Trish Stratus as the only competitors who have walked into ‘WrestleMania’ to defend their titles at consecutive events. She will also make history as the first Superstar to defend both the Raw and SmackDown Women’s titles at ‘WrestleMania.’
