WWE had planned to broadcast another season of “WWE Tough Enough” on the WWE Network, but reports later surfaced the company no longer had plans to do so. Budget cuts were seen as the primary reason for the cutting of the show, and many were wondering where WWE would go from there in showing off the performance center.

On Tuesday, the company released a video that took a look at a recent three-day tryout at the WWE Performance Center. Highlights from it can be found below.

The video features former football players, independent wrestlers, and even guys who have experience in the past with WWE. Ryan Howe, who was a contestant on the season of “Tough Enough” that aired in 2011, can be seen in the video. There is even a flashback to “Stone Cold” Steve Austin reprimanding him.

It appears this is WWE’s way of making up for the canceled season, while simultaneously featuring the Performance Center.

Editor’s Note

It was a very interesting video, for sure. The intensity is incredible that these athletes subject themselves to.
