There have been rumors surfacing around the Internet TNA executive John Gaburick was in New York City closing a new television deal with an unnamed company to broadcast “Impact Wrestling.” According to a new report, these rumors may not have as many legs as once thought.

PWInsider has checked in with various TNA sources, and the sources say Gaburick has been in Nashville, Tennessee at TNA headquarters. With that said, the outlet says the company is hard at work trying to finish up a new deal. The company is attempting to get a sealed that will go past 2015.

In addition, PWInsider notes how the company is looking to bring television taping back to the New York City area. It is said TNA has a “verbal hold” on the Manhattan Center for more tapings to start 2015 off for the show, but that could be pulled back if no deal is in place.

It was recently reported the company has put a hiatus on live events, with the focus going towards television and securing a deal.

Round and round the talks go. Where they stop, nobody knows.
