John Cena has defeated The Rock at WrestleMania 29 to become the new WWE Champion.

After a long, back and forth match, Rock delivered several Rock Bottoms to Cena, but it was to no avail as Cena eventually found the strength to cover The Rock after hitting him with a Attitude Adjustment.

The match saw Cena take his 11th WWE Championship as the show went off the air. Over 80,000 people were in attendance for the event, setting a new MetLife Stadium attendance record.

This was the second match in a long-running feud between the pair, spanning over nearly three years. Both Cena and The Rock have now won a match each at WrestleMania.

The show went off the air with both men embracing in the middle of the ring, perhaps bringing to an end the long-running feud.
