Jay Briscoe defeated Kevin Steen Friday night to win the Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Championship in what was considered – up until the final minutes – a great contest.

Unfortunately, the service ROH uses to stream their iPPV events cut out right before the finish, as several members of the heel faction S.C.U.M. made their way down to the ring. When the feed came back, Jay Briscoe was in the ring celebrating with his family, the new ROH World Champion.

Apart from the main event, the “Supercard of Honor VII” iPPV was virtually flawless, producing several must-see matches without a single audio or video glitch.
