Former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy was injured in Sunday night’s bout against Bully Ray.

Towards the end of the match, Hardy reportedly suffered a concussion after taking a powerbomb from the top rope. Hardy’s head hit the mat simultaneously as his back did, and he was slow to get up. Regardless of the injury, Hardy was able to finish the match, which included fending off invading members of Aces & Eights. He ultimately lost the match to Ray after the latter was revealed as the President of the attacking group.

Hardy recognized his fans following the contest on his Twitter, making no note to the injury.

He was checked out backstage by officials, and no word has been given as of yet what his condition will be for this Thursday’s edition of IMPACT.
