In what has to be considered a giant error on the part of TNA and their head of talent relations, Bruce Prichard, current Tag Team champion Bobby Roode has been left without a contract on the eve of this Sunday’s huge Lockdown pay-per-view.

Reports are coming in that Prichard, in error, allowed Roode’s contract to expire during Impact Wrestling’s recent tour of the United Kingdom, which would explain his absence from TNA’s weekly television show during the last two weeks. Many speculated that the company was teasing Roode as a potential leader or “V.P.” of their Aces & Eights faction, by leaving him off the show, however it now appears as if the former World Champion has simply not re-signed with the company.

Bobby Roode and his tag team partner Austin Aries are scheduled to defend their titles this Sunday at Lockdown, against the teams of Bad Influence, as well as Chavo Guerrero and “Supermex” Hernandez.
