Mickie James Rejects Contract Extension, Now a Free Agent

Mickie James’ has rejected an extension to her TNA contract and is officially a free agent as of today.

Jason Powell of ProWrestling.net reports that James rejected a contract extension earlier this month and is now no longer contracted to the company.

In a match taped for this Thursday’s Impact Wrestling, Mickie James lost the TNA Knockouts championship in a match with ODB.

As well as a brief tenure in ROH, James has worked for both TNA and WWE, holding both companies respective women’s championships.
