Preston City Wrestling, a UK based wrestling promotion recently announced that former Undisputed World Heavyweight Boxing Champion, Riddick Bowe, will be making his professional wrestling debut with the company. The two have agreed for Bowe to wrestle on March 1, 2014, and for Bowe to also appear for the company on February 28 for a contract signing.  As of now, his opponent has not been announced, but that announcement will come soon according to Preston City Wrestling.

Last month, Riddick Bowe made headlines for considering to enter the pro wrestling business. Along with that, he exclusively told WrestlingRumors, “I want Hogan!” Former ECW and WWE star Tommy Dreamer even offered to help train Bowe to make it in wrestling.

Preston City Wrestling Owner Steven Fludder is excited for Bowe’s signing and said the following:

“This is an exciting coup for Preston City Wrestling. Riddick Bowe is one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time and has been training hard to make the transition to the wrestling ring.”
