AJ Lee “Fires” Big E Langston

WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee insinuated on Twitter today that the reason her and Big E Langston had not be seen together on WWE programming of late is because she “fired” him.

The two exchanged the following tweets:

I almost got kidnapped at a Subway sandwich restaurant in Canada & @BigELangston did nothing to stop it. This is why I fired you, E.

Lee and Langston have not been seen together on television since SummerSlam, when Dolph Ziggler and Kaitlyn defeated them in a mixed-tag match. As Wrestling Rumors reported earlier, WWE has been considering a major face turn for Langston.

The former NXT Champion has been absent from RAW, but competing of late on other programs without Lee at his side.
