WWE has pre-taped this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown from Wichita, Kansas.
-It is announced that Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel will not be taking place, due to the attack by Fandango on Monday Night Raw.
-MizTV replaces the Highlight Reel as the first segment of the night, and the Awesome Superstar introduces his guests, Randy Orton and Big Show. The two boast about getting the win at Extreme Rules, either by RKO or the KO Punch, until Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter interrupt them. They talk about the “I Quit” match until del Rio joins the party. This continues on with Mark Henry coming out next, until Sheamus hits the ring with a strap and chases off the heels. Teddy Long books the obligatory 6-man tag match for the main event.
(1) Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns def. The Usos
-Damien Sandow complains to Teddy Long that he wants his own talk show. In comes Miz, who disagrees, and a match is made between the two.
(2) Tons of Funk def. Prime Time Players
(3) Chris Jericho def. Antonio Cesaro
-After the match, Fandango attempted to attack Chris Jericho, but was unncessful in his attempt. Jericho hit Cesaro with the Codebreaker as Fandango watched.
-Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger complain about the American government, and imply that Dolph Ziggler is just scared of losing the World title.
(4) The Miz def. Damien Sandow. Cody Rhodes was on commentary to hype his match with Miz this Sunday.
(5) Kaitlyn def. Aksana
(6) Randy Orton, Sheamus & Alberto del Rio def. Big Show, Mark Henry & Jack Swagger. The faces won the match after a big brawl, many finishers, and Orton putting away Swagger with the RKO.
