Two Returning Women Spotted Backstage at Raw

Raw is looking to kick off 2017 with a banner show setting us on the road to WrestleMania, and what better way to do that than with a couple of long-awaited returns?

UPDATE: Various reports are coming in that confirm Paige has already left the arena. A return from the former Divas champ was unlikely, and now that thought is entirely squashed.

Well, hold your horses.

We’re not talking about Mickie James, who is scheduled to make her WWE return on SmackDown sometime in the near future.

This is instead all about Emmalina and Paige, each of whom were spotted heading into the Amalie Arena in Tampa ahead of Raw tonight.

It’s not unlikely that Emmalina will (finally) make her big debut tonight, but remember that it’s not uncommon for wrestlers to be backstage even when they’re not scheduled for appearances. Emmalina has been a fixture at recent Raw house shows, but mostly as a guest referee.

Paige says she’s getting her neck checked out today. Given that previous reports on the state of her surgery indicate that she’s out for some time, it seems unlikely that she’ll be competing tonight. That certainly doesn’t preclude the possibility of an appearance on TV–or a more likely bit of taping for Total Divas.

That’s not the only big news for Paige, though, who recently posted a photo of her new engagement ring.
