WrestleMania is behind us, and it’s time for a new era in WWE–the era of a slightly different roster than last year.
Part two of the Superstar Shakeup is the big story today. The Miz, Maryse, Dean Ambrose, Apollo Crews, Curt Hawkins, Bray Wyatt, Kalisto, Heath Slater, Rhyno, Alexa Bliss, and Mickie James all transitioned to Monday night, and they leave some big holes to fill on SmackDown.
You can see the big report on who’s expected to go red-to-blue here, but the big keys are bringing in Kevin Owens and the United States Championship, allowing the New Day to liven up the tag team division, and freshening up the women’s division with bona fide superstars Charlotte and Sasha Banks.
Notably, while Elias Samson debuted (in a way) last night, the last NXT call-up we’ve been expecting–Andrade “Cien” Almas–has not. Tonight would be the perfect opportunity to make a splash.
On top of that, the Usos continue to seek some recognition after not having a title defense at WrestleMania. The match has yet to be confirmed, but their next opponents are set as American Alpha–don’t be surprised if we see a tag team classic tonight.
Plus, we’ll need to see the direction for recently debuted stars like Shinsuke Nakamura and Tye Dillinger.
Stick with us for all the news as it happens!
