It’s scarcely a surprise at this point, but the Raw after WrestleMania saw the return of Finn Balor in the main event.
Seth Rollins and Chris Jericho were set to take on Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe to close Raw, but the heel team beat down Y2J backstage and sent him through a table–presumably writing Jericho off TV for his upcoming Fozzy tour.
New GM Kurt Angle promised Rollins would have a partner for the match, and that would turn out to be none other than the very first Universal Champion, Finn Balor.
Finn and Seth put their differences aside–remember, Seth is the one who injured Finn in the first place–to defeat their opponents. Balor delivered the aptly named Coup De Grace to KO, scoring a victory over the United States Champion.
