It’s that special day of the year—WrestleMania. It’s WWE’s gala event, a combination of big wrestling matches, celebrity appearances, and a scale of production rarely seen in the sports entertainment world. As a hardcore fan, it’s tough not to be disappointed with the card going into the show, given how many dream matches we were inches away from seeing, and the stars who aren’t on the show this year. But come on, it’s WrestleMania.

A series of circumstances no one could have imagined led us here, to a rematch of what many call the worst WrestleMania match of all time. The really strange thing? People are interested in where it goes. Goldberg defeated the undefeated Brock Lesnar in under two minutes in singles action, and made similarly short work of the Beast at the Royal Rumble. Could Goldberg go longer than two minutes at his age? Could the pair manage an exciting match at a longer time? And who would emerge victorious?

It wasn’t a squash–at least not so much as their encounter in November. Goldberg hit spears and jackhammers, but it wasn’t enough to pin Lesnar. Lesnar struck back with 10 German suplexes and an F5 to claim the Universal Championship.

We’ve have coverage of every single match on the card tonight, so stick with us for all the results. We’re not done after WrestleMania, either—we’ve still got Raw and SmackDown this week, and who knows what surprises will hit those shows? As always, let us know what you think down in the comments, or on Facebook!
