It seems that Paige is a big fan of the ladies portraying her and her one-time opponent in the upcoming film documenting her family’s story. She let her feelings be known on social media earlier this week.

Tessa Blanchard–indeed the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Tully Blanchard–certainly appreciated the compliment.

She’ll be playing out Paige’s in-ring action for the film, while actress Florence Pugh takes on the role as the character herself.
The third name, Thea Trinidad, portrays AJ Lee in the movie, and seeing the entrance of Mrs. Phil Brooks on a modern Raw set proved a pretty surreal experience for WWE fans in attendance this past Monday.
The resulting “CM Punk” chants are what drove the Rock’s now-famous phone call to the former WWE star. In case you haven’t heard, management was unhappy.
AJ, too, was a big fan of her soon-to-be on-screen appearance.

In case you’re wondering why there’s all this hubbub over a movie for Paige–as opposed to any number of other wrestlers–it’s because her family has an extensive and interesting history in the pro wrestling business.
That story was already the subject of a successful British documentary, and it was that program which inspired the Rock’s decision to take on the project.
