Parents have some major concerns at a Florida elementary-middle school after a student brought what’s being called a “kill list” to class. That list apparently drew inspiration from something WWE fans know quite well.

According to a report from the sheriff’s office–coming to us by way of a local news story–that list was inspired by the one Chris Jericho makes a regular part of his on-screen persona. (Shout out to the local reporter using insider terms like “gimmick,” by the way.)

One parent said that her one of her kids said that another “kid wrote a list, and it includes most of the kids on the football team, and he wants to shoot them.”

The family says that the list-bearing student had no intention of harming anyone.

Not to make light of any parent’s concern over their child’s safety in school, but we have to wonder if this is a case of a kid making a harmless imitation of something on TV. In any case, here’s hoping the issue can be resolved amicably–and that our young Jerichoholic truly had no bad intentions.

Chris Jericho hunts for "The List of Jericho": Raw, Oct. 24, 2016

As far as Jericho himself goes, WWE is making sure his beatdown from Owens seems legit. He missed Raw this week, and just recently returned to a European house show.
