He may not be Nakamura, but he’s still a major fan-favorite, and he’s made his main roster debut on the SmackDown after WrestleMania.
Curt Hawkins came to the ring, complaining about the Superstar Shakeup getting more attention than him. So he issued an open challenge to the SmackDown locker room, offering a count of 10 to any star who had the guts to face him.
Tye Dillinger’s music hit immediately, and he had a singles match against Hawkins. It was a short one, with Tye picking up the victory. After a disappointingly one-off Royal Rumble appearance, it’s great to see Dillinger in a main roster position.
But, as JBL quickly reminded us, next week’s Shakeup could mean that Dillinger won’t be long for SmackDown. We’ll find out soon.
