The good old boy comes home. One of the big surprises from last night’s “Wrestlemania XXXIII” was Jim Ross making his return to WWE commentary for the first time since 2013. Ross was brought back in for what appeared to be Undertaker’s last match and has since been announced as signing a two year deal with WWE. With “Wrestlemania XXXIII” out of the way, Ross has made some comments on his return.

On his official Twitter, Ross talked about how great it was to be back at Wrestlemania and said he knew his wife was watching. Ross’ wife Jan passed away last week due to being struck by a car when she was riding her Vespa. There is no word on what Ross will be doing or if he’ll be a full time commentator.

The Undertaker makes perhaps his final WrestleMania entrance: WrestleMania 33 (WWE Network)

Opinion: I know he’s older now and not the commentator he used to be, but Ross belongs in WWE. He’s that voice that you get used to listening to over the years and it just feels right hearing him on WWE TV. I doubt he’ll be a full time commentator but having him brought in for special events is a great idea.

Are you glad Ross is back? Do you want to see him as a full time commentator? Let us know in the comments below.
