WWE’s announce teams are about to undergo major changes once again.

WWE has announced that it has promoted “NXT” announcer Rich Brennan to the main roster. Brennan, who has been serving as one of the main voices of “NXT,” will now been seen on WWE programming weekly as he joins the “Smackdown” commentary team.

In addition, now that “Tough Enough” has come to an end, Booker T will now be able to resume his role as a color commentator. The WWE Hall of Famer will be joining Brennan and Jerry “The King” Lawler as mainstays on Thursday nights.

Booker T and Brennan exchanged a few words via their official Twitter accounts, expressing their excitement in being able to work together:

With Booker T now officially confirmed for “Smackdown,” this means Byron Saxton will now be a permanent member of the “Raw” announce team. He will continue to be joined by Michael Cole and JBL on Monday nights.

Editor’s Note:

Shucky Ducky Quack Quack…….it will be good to have Booker T back on commentary again, and I feel the chemistry between him and Lawler will be interesting to watch. The addition of Brennan will only make “Smackdown” stronger. Saxton has received his fair share of criticism, but I feel he has gotten stronger over the past few months. A strong commentating team can definitely make or break a show, so hopefully these changes will be a positive for WWE programming.
