We have reported numerous times that CM Punk has no immediate plans to return to the WWE as he is off resting and healing some nagging injuries. WrestlingObserver.com is now reporting that there is a lot of talk going on backstage and WWE officials want him back on TV and even back in the ring by June.

WWE’s June Pay-Per-View, Payback, will be taking place in Punk’s hometown of Chicago, IL. It’s understandable why the WWE would want the hometown draw of Punk in Chicago, as he always pulls big numbers into the arenas when he is on any Chicago card. The question still remains however, when will CM Punk return?
