According to a new report from the Wade Keller Hotline on PWTorch.com, World Wrestling Entertainment is re-evaluating every WWE Creative storyline that has been planned for the foreseeable future.
WWE will hold emergency creative meetings on Jan. 30 and 31 to look at everything they have planned out so far, including all plans for WrestleMania XXX, and determine if what they have lined up is truly “best for business.” As far as the creative staff goes, they were told that they would be required to attend these day-long conferences in order to put all of the “pieces to the WWE puzzle in place” understanding that “nothing is sacred” and that “everything will be evaluated and discussed.”
What this means going forward is that nothing the WWE Creative staff, including Vince McMahon, Triple H, Kevin Dunn, and Stephanie McMahon, has planned for “Elimination Chamber,” WrestleMania XXX, and beyond could still be the route the company goes following these meetings. Jan. 30 and 31 will prove to be crucial in the progress of WWE, especially with the current bedlam that is occurring around them.
Following reports of CM Punk walking out on the company for no confirmed reason, the groundswell of popularity for Daniel Bryan, and the negative reactions the WWE Universe have been feeding the current product, recently returned “Animal” Batista, and the “face of the WWE” Randy Orton, it seems as if McMahon and company feel like they are at a crossroads and need to figure out what to do next.
Reports of WrestleMania XXX plans already being changed (from Bryan vs. Triple H to a Triple Threat Match between Bryan, Batista, and Orton for the title) have hit the web, with nobody knowing for sure what is going to happen over the next ten weeks. The only thing that WWE’s creative team understands right now is that everything is on the table, and nothing could be the same by the end of Jan. 31.
