WWE has big plans for John Cena and Daniel Bryan following WrestleMania XXX. A new report from Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer of “Wrestling Observer Radio” and F4Wonline.com claims that WWE officials will be presenting John Cena and Daniel Bryan as the “number one” and “number two” guys on the roster going into the Summer of 2014.

Belief in the WWE is that Bryan is clearly the most over superstar with the WWE Universe, while Cena is still the true face of the company. Cena is top merchandise seller, the top headliner, and the most recognizable name in WWE today. Word is Cena will still be marketed as the number one guy in WWE, while Bryan will replace the recently departed CM Punk as the company’s number two.

Rumors have been circulating backstage that say WWE officials were initially shocked by the fan support for Bryan, but they have now gotten fully behind it. Bryan is expected to either win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship either at WrestleMania XXX, or shortly after, so that the company can capitalize on his mass appeal.

However, even with Bryan as champion, it is expected that Cena will be booked as the main event superstar on many of the cards, much like he was when Punk was WWE Champion for 434 days.
