A new report from F4Wonline.com has provided an update on Daniel Bryan’s condition. As we previously reported. Bryan suffered a concussion during the main event of the Jan. 13 edition of “Monday Night Raw.” The concussion is considered serious by WWE doctors according to the report, as Bryan supposedly remembers very little of the match he was involved in.
Bryan teamed up with Bray Wyatt to take on the Usos in a Steel Cage Tag Team Match to close out Monday’s episode of “RAW.” However, the end of the broadcast would see Bryan turn babyface yet again, as he attacked his partner Bray Wyatt and discarded the “Wyatt Family” attire that he had been wearing for two weeks.
The finish caused the crowd in Providence, R.I. to come unglued, as they chanted “YES!” for Bryan. He would then climb atop the steel cage and celebrate with the WWE Universe. Sadly, Bryan vaguely remembers any of this due to the concussion.
While it has been confirmed through various sources, WWE has yet to acknowledge Bryan’s injury on WWE.com. There was also no word of Bryan suffering a concussion to the fans during the Jan. 14 WWE “Smackdown” tapings. However, Bryan did not appear at the event and will not be featured on Friday, Jan. 17’s airing of the show.
WrestlingRumors.net will keep you updated on Bryan’s condition throughout the week, as he is expected to go through standard testing before being cleared to compete again. Bryan is not the only superstar currently suffering from such injuries, as Dolph Ziggler is currently on the sidelines recovering from a concussion as well.
