A new report from F4Wonline.com has provided an update on Batista’s new WWE contract. According to F4Wonline, “The Animal” will be working for World Wrestling Entertainment for at least two years, if not longer, courtesy of his new deal with the company.
Many reports making waves on the internet conflict with one another when it comes to Batista’s new contract with WWE. Some say that “The Animal” will only be around until WrestleMania XXX, while others have stated that the former WWE Champion would be working for the company until SummerSlam comes and goes in August of 2014. However, this new report claims that Batista has signed a two-year (or more) deal with WWE, and that both he and the company are going to treat it as his final WWE run.
As we previously reported, Batista will return to WWE television on the Jan. 20 edition of “Monday Night Raw.” It is expected that Batista will announce himself as an entrant in the 2014 Royal Rumble Match during the program. He is currently rumored to be the man that wins the Rumble Match and face WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton at WrestleMania XXX.
During a recent interview with Michael Cole, WWE COO Triple H referred to Batista as if he were already in the main event picture. According to reports, you can expect to see Batista on more of a full-time basis than you’ve seen Brock Lesnar, Chris Jericho, and Rob Van Dam over the last few years, as “The Animal” may actually have a championship run before he leaves the company again.
