In a recent interview with Michael Cole on WWE.com, Triple H threatens Sting to build towards a match which will likely take place at WrestleMania 31. As previously reported, WWE officials are positioning Sting to have at least one match for the company before retiring for good, and that bout will likely be against Triple H on March 29.
In kayfabe, meaning strictly in storyline and character, Triple H tells Cole that he’s starting to get angry with Sting due to him, “sticking his nose (ironic, huh?) in [Triple H’s] business.” He claims that he shook off Sting’s first interference, simply because he thought, “well, this old WCW guy is trying to make a name for himself and put himself on the map.”
However, following this second encounter during the Jan. 19 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” Triple H can’t continue to look the other way. Sting caused a distraction during the episode which lead to John Cena getting a pinfall victory over Seth Rollins, which lead to the rehiring of Ryback, Dolph Ziggler, and Erick Rowan, who Triple H and Stephanie McMahon had fired two weeks earlier.
Triple H goes on to state that, “if Sting wants to make a name for himself by coming after me, he’s going to make the biggest mistake of his life.” He also goes on to say that he’s the reason Sting has never been in WWE prior to 2014, and Sting’s going to find out why soon if he shows up in a WWE arena again.
When Cole pries about what the issue is between Triple H and Sting, the COO gets heated and says that he doesn’t know and that Cole should interview Sting to find out and do his job. “Maybe in an attempt to make himself relevant, he’s gone straight to the top of the pile and is coming after me, maybe he’s just a crazy person who puts paint on his face, I don’t know,” Triple H says, “but I can tell you this, if he does it again, if he sticks his nose in my business again, it’ll be the last thing he ever does.”
Sting made his first appearance on “Monday Night Raw” ever on Jan. 19, and is expected to make at least four more appearances for the company leading into WrestleMania 31 on March 29.

Editor’s Note:
I’m getting stoked to see Sting vs. Triple H. You KNOW Triple H is going to make Sting look like a million bucks at ‘Mania, which is something I’ve been waiting to see for 23 years.
