Triple H is being advertised as a competitor for the Oct. 26 WWE Pay-Per-View event, “Hell In A Cell.” Triple H, who has not wrestled in a match for the company since “Payback” on June 1, is expected to be working an angle with Roman Reigns over the span of two shows, “Night Of Champions,” and “Hell In A Cell.”
While the only match originally rumored to be taking place between Reigns and Triple H was set to be had at “Night Of Champions,” this feud may go on a little bit longer and last until Oct. 26, where the two may meet inside of steel. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter claims Triple H is set to work the October event, and Reigns is the only opponent set for him at this time.
Many believe that Triple H will try and make Reigns look like a mega-star in the ring, and some believe Reigns and Triple H in a Hell in a Cell Match could be the catalyst to Reigns being looked at as one of the most powerful figures in the company. If Triple H does not face Reigns in a rematch at “Hell In A Cell,” then other possibilities for an opponent for “The Game” would be Randy Orton or Batista.
Orton told Triple H during the July 28 edition of “Monday Night Raw” that they now have a problem with each other. Batista, who “quit” Evolution and WWE in June following “Payback” to go do movie promotion for “Guardians of the Galaxy,” should be returning to the company in time to work “Night Of Champions” at least. He may show up at “SummerSlam” to cost Orton his match with Reigns.
Editor’s Note:
I could see Batista vs Triple H, but it will likely be Reigns. I see Batista coming out at the aid of Reigns at “SummerSlam,” leading to Orton vs Batista for the next few months following Aug. 17.
