Reports from fans on Twitter, most notably “Brock Lesnar Guy,” have provided us with WWE “Smackdown” spoilers for July 9, which will air on SyFy Network Thursday. The following event was taped in Milwaukee on July 7.

WWE “Smackdown” Spoilers for July 9

* WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins kicks off the program with an in-ring promo. He talks about what happened during the July 6 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” where he called out Brock Lesnar and the Beast destroyed the Cadillac that Rollins had “purchased” for J & J Security, who are also both “injured” thanks to Lesnar. The battered remains of the car are brought out on stage.

Paul Heyman soon interrupts Rollins, and the two further set up the main event of WWE “Battleground,” where Rollins will defend his title against Lesnar.

1) Dean Ambrose def. Bo Dallas via Pinfall. Apparently Ambrose botches a big spot and the crowd just wasn’t really into this match. Expect the audio of crowd involvement to be piped in during the finish of this one.

2) Rusev def. Fandango via Submission. Rusev is wearing shoes like he was during “RAW” now. Said to look weird.

3) Roman Reigns def. Big Show via DQ. Similarly to “RAW,” Bray Wyatt’s music hit and a decoy Wyatt hit the ramp. Reigns stayed in the ring this time, only to get ambushed by Wyatt from behind. Two Sister Abigails later and Reigns is out.

4) Titus O’Neil def. Big E via Pinfall. The rest of The New Day were ejected from ringside during the match.

* Randy Orton cuts a promo on Sheamus, likely leading to a match being made between the two for “Battleground.” The Ascension interrupts Orton and tell him to leave “their ring.” He lays them both out with RKO’s for a nice pop.

5) Brie Bella / Alicia Fox def. Naomi / Tamina Snuka via Pinfall.

6) Ryback def. Seth Rollins via Count-Out. Rollins left the bout in heel fashion as to not get pinned by the Ryback. Big Show would come out to help Rollins go back to the ring and attack Ryback once the match was over, but Roman Reigns made the save to leave the babyfaces standing strong at the end of the show.
