WWE may have “given up” on Bo Dallas and the possibility of his character being a successful one on the company’s main roster. As previously reported, rumors claim Vince McMahon had, and continues to have, low expectations in regards to Dallas and overall, just doesn’t like, or understand his character.

The latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter claims that backstage, Dallas has basically been given up on, which is strange given that he was starting to gain a great reaction from the crowd.  Dave Meltzer of the Newsletter claims that the reason Dallas lost to R-Truth, which essentially ended his push and his winning streak, is due to McMahon being down on the character.

It should be noted that Dallas was receiving a fan reaction as a heel, which WWE executives such as McMahon have been known to hate when that character is “supposed” to have everyone hate them. Some believe this is why there has been a halt on Bray Wyatt’s push as well, as seen in the lackluster work done with Chris Jericho since his feud with WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena.

Editor’s Note:
While they may say they want their talent to get over with the fans, unless you’re built like John Cena or Triple H, they really won’t push guys that organically get over now a days. Punk had to drop a pipe bomb saying WWE would be better off if McMahon was dead to get them to finally push him. Daniel Bryan had to have Punk quit for his push to come. Wyatt is getting screwed currently, and they DEFINITELY screwed up with Wyatt’s real life brother in Dallas. Bo Dallas could have been huge. His charisma and excellent portrayal of that sarcastic know-it-all was immaculate. They ruined it with the R-Truth victory. He’ll get lost in the mid-card shuffle now.
