WWE Releases New Stephanie McMahon Merchandise, Which Mocks Daniel Bryan

On Sunday, Aug. 17, at the “SummerSlam” pay-per-view, Stephanie McMahon will compete in a WWE ring for the first time in more than 10 years. One of the principal owners of WWE will take on Brie Bella. The match came about when Brie demanded her job back, in addition to the match at “SummerSlam,” in exchange for dropping previous assault “charges” against Stephanie.

In preparation for the match, on Shop.WWE.com, WWE has released new merchandise for Stephanie McMahon and The Authority.

The “Steph! Steph! Steph!” t-shirt is a knockoff of Daniel Bryan’s famous “Yes! Yes! Yes!” shirt. With the new merchandise, fans have begun to speculate if Bryan will appear during the match at “SummerSlam.” Bryan was a focal point of the build to the match on the Aug. 11 edition of “Monday Night Raw.” Stephane McMahon brought out Bryan’s “physical therapist,” Megan Miller, who eventually claimed she as having an “affair” with Bryan.

Daniel Bryan’s last appearance on WWE programming was at the “Money in the Bank” pay-per-view. He appeared for the pre-show to the event, and would verbally clash with then recent NXT call-up, Bo Dallas. Bryan’s injury status is still up in the air, as he recently revealed he needs more surgery. Within WWE, there has already been discussion of having him make his in-ring return at the 2015 “Royal Rumble” event.
