Randy Orton may have suffered an injury on “Monday Night Raw.” According to fan reports from Kansas City, Missouri, where “RAW” emanated from on Oct. 20, Orton could be heard clearly telling ringside doctors that a ruptured disc in his back (which he has been working with since 2011) was, “f**ked.”

The main event of the Oct. 20 edition of “Monday Night Raw” saw John Cena and Dean Ambrose face Orton, Seth Rollins, and Kane in a 3-on-2 Handicap Street Fight. There were multiple spots where Orton may have further aggravated the pre-existing issue with his back, including two spots involving Ambrose and the Authority brethren.

Early in the match, Ambrose leapt onto the trio of heels from the announce table. He then jumped onto Orton and Rollins from the top rope inside the ring.

Later in the bout, “The Lunatic Fringe” tossed Rollins over the top rope onto Orton while all were trapped inside of the Hell in a Cell structure. Orton yelled the “F” word following the second spot, but was censored out on live television thanks to the FCC regulated seven-second delay.

WrestlingRumors.net acknowledged the spot in the program where Orton was visibly aggravated, in a lot of pain, and let the obscenity fly on Twitter,

In was evident for the rest of the program that Orton was in pain and struggling to get in and out of the ring. If the herniated disc Orton has been working with for three years has been re-injured, this could pose serious issues for the superstar moving forward.

Orton initially suffered a herniated disc during a Falls Count Anywhere Match with Wade Barrett. The incident took place during the Dec. 30 edition of “SmackDown,” where Barrett pushed Orton down a set of stairs. Orton refused to have surgery, and never fully rehabilitated, as he returned to work just one month following the injury.

“The Viper” is currently set to face John Cena in one of two main events to be held inside of “The Devil’s Playground” at “Hell In A Cell” on Oct. 26. The winner of this bout will earn a shot at Brock Lesnar and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the near future. As of this article, Lesnar is not expected to appear at either November or December Pay-Per-View events, and is supposed to face Cena at “Royal Rumble,” which may mean Orton is slated to lose the upcoming Hell in a Cell match to his arch-rival.

However, the card, and future plans, are always subject to change.

Editor’s Note:
Here’s hoping that Orton is ok. Would hate to see him have to leave and have surgery when SO many other superstars are out because of injuries.
