Divas Championship Match Confirmed for WWE “Hell in a Cell”

WWE.com has confirmed that AJ Lee will defend her WWE Divas Championship against Paige at the “Hell in a Cell” pay-per-view on Oct. 26.

The belt has gone back and forth between the two for several months now.

Paige’s first title reign came at the expense of AJ Lee the night after WrestleMania XXX on “Raw.” She went on to successfully defend the belt for several months before dropping the strap back to AJ on June 30.

Both Divas have squared off at each of the last three pay-per-view events for the Divas Championship. AJ defeated Paige at “Battleground” with Paige winning it back at “SummerSlam” and then losing it to AJ in a Triple Threat match involving Nikki Bella at “Night of Champions.”

There’s no word yet on whether Alicia Fox, Paige’s new BFF, will escort the challenger to ringside.

WWE “Hell in a Cell” takes place live from the AmericanAirlines Center in Dallas, Texas on Oct. 26 at 8 p.m. ET.

What’s one more time, right? The AJ Lee vs. Paige feud has carried the Divas division for nearly the entire year. Unless a more legitimate challenger emerges for the gold, there’s really no one else that can be put in this spot.
