Reddit user MetsFan4Ever, a WWE insider who has broken several stories in the past, is back at it again.

His latest report has WWE taking a hard look at independent wrestler Uhaa Nation, a 27-year-old native of Atlanta, Georgia.

According to MetsFan4Ever, Nation is “currently a very high priority for WWE.”

The company was so impressed with his tryout at their Performance Center in September that they flew out to see him perform live at a Pro Wrestling Guerrila (PWG) event this past Friday.

Standing at 6’0″ and weighing just a tad over 240 pounds, Nation is a hybrid performer who excels at both power wrestling and high-flying.

He’s been on the wrestling scene since 2009 and has competed regularly for Dragon Gate USA and in Japan.

Editor’s Note

I’ve seen Nation perform live one time in my life and, I must say, he’s very impressive with both his in-ring ability and his size. You can obviously make the comparison to former WWE superstar Bobby Lashley because of their looks and builds, but Nation is more charismatic, just as agile and has a higher ceiling. Here’s hoping WWE snags him up because, with the right “WWE training,” he could be something special one day.
