Randy Orton leaves SummerSlam WWE Champion! Orton cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on Daniel Bryan to win his first WWE Championship since 2010.
Bryan had successfully beaten John Cena to win his first WWE Title when Orton came to the ring to tease a cash-in. While Bryan was celebrating his win, Special Referee Triple H pedigreed the bearded champion, leaving him down on the mat.
Orton then seized the opportunity to cash in his contract and become the WWE Champion once more.
