Many wrestling news sites reported Tuesday (June 4th) that the WWE had released NXT superstar Scott Dawson. The rumors began after Dawson’s NXT profile seemed to have been removed from the NXT roster page. Dawson quickly took to Twitter to confirm that he has NOT been released by the company. He even goes on to say that he was even working with former WWE superstar and NXT trainer Billy Gunn when all of the rumors were hitting the web.

Dawson’s profile being removed from the website could have been for maintenance purposes. Sometimes profiles are removed to update information, profile pictures, video packages, and so on. No matter what the reasons were for the profile being removed, the news of Dawson NOT being released from the company is something you can trust, as it comes straight from the horse’s mouth.
