WWE superstar Kane, real name Glenn Jacobs, will be talking politics in Tennessee on June 13th. As we previously reported, Jacobs has been dabbling in the political realm, openly discussing his views on the Internet Sales Tax proposition. Jacobs will be speaking at a “Campaign for Liberty” meeting at Logan’s Steakhouse in Nashville, Tennessee. The event is open to the public, and Kane will be discussing said Internet sales tax with anyone and everyone that attends the event.

Jacobs has been very vocal about his opposition to the pending “Marketplace Fairness Act,” a legislation that would allow purchases made on the Internet be taxed. A 1992 U.S. Supreme Court ruling claimed that sales could not be taxed over the Internet if the purchase is made in another state, and Jacobs is fighting to keep that ruling in tact. Jacobs is also rumored to have been in talks about running for a 2016 state Senate seat in the state of Tennessee. Speaking in public forums like the “Campaign for Liberty” event is a great step for Jacobs towards that goal, if true.
