Matt Hardy and Reby Sky Arrested After Domestic Brawl

Professional wrestlers Matt Hardy and Reby Sky were arrested in Emporia, Va earlier this month after engaging in a domestic dispute. TMZ.com reports that both Hardy and Sky, real name Rebecca Hardy, were detained and processed on Jan. 1 for Assault and Battery after brawling with each other at the local Hampton Inn.

According to reports, the 911 call came from someone working at the hotel around 5:45 A.M.ET. During the call, the hotel staffer told the emergency operator, “a guest just came down here and said somebody’s beating the hell out of his wife a girl or something.”

Upon the arrival of the police, the Hardy’s were arrested, but not before the damage was done. You can see by their mug shots that both received minor injury from their real life bout. The two were released on $3,500 bail, and both quickly took out restraining orders against one another.

Matt Hardy is of course a former WWE Tag Team Champion and is the brother of former WWE and current TNA superstar Jeff Hardy. Both Matt Hardy and his wife Reby Sky had been working the independent wrestling circuit together and appeared to be happy in what they were doing.
