WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross says the WWE had big plans for India. Ross recently updated the Q&A section of his official website, JRsBarBQ.com, and one of the topics Ross discusses is if the WWE will be heading to India to film an event any time soon.

One of Ross’ fans brings up the question, saying,

rashaadvf Asks: With the news coming out about WWE’s much success in India, are there any chances that WWE will hold a live event in the subcontinent since its been more than a decade? Were there any talks about touring while you were with the promotion?

Ross responds with,

“I’ve heard that WWE has big plans for India. I know no details.”

While Ross did not provide any details on what the WWE’s actual plans are, in regards to broadcasting an event from India, he did state that they do indeed have something “big” in mind. The WWE has had a great deal of success in India over the last few years. Many believe the product’s popularity in India is one of the only reasons that the Great Khali remains employed by the company, as the WWE wants to have an Indian star in their content.
