For the second week in a row, Punk defeated Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel with the GTS. It was also the second week’s dark match that saw Punk attack Paul Heyman with a Kendo stick.

Monday night’s program took place in Toronto, Canada, and multiple reports coming on from fans at the event claimed that before the match, Punk attacked Paul Heyman with the Kendo stick, sending him running to the back. Punk was then left to win a fail fight against Axel, and then destroy the IC champion with several chair shots to end the night.
