WWE’s advertised matches for Sept. 21 and 22 feature R-Truth in large-scale matches. Truth hasn’t seen himself in the main event picture since the final months of 2011, but is scheduled to be featured as Big Show’s tag team partner vs. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins on the first date.

The day after, he will take on the United States champion Dean Ambrose in singles action. Though live events are not necessarily indicative of storylines, it should be noted the other matches, such as Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton, are promoted as such.

Truth was involved initially in an angle with Bray Wyatt a few weeks after the latter’s debut, but has been used sparingly since.
