WWE superstar Santino Marella has officially returned to WWE TV. We at WrestlingRumors had previously reported that Marella was set to compete again soon, and the former two-time Intercontinental Champion returned Monday night on RAW.
Marella wrestled Real American member Antonio Cesaro in Toronto, Canada Monday night, earning a victory in the process. Marella had not wrestled on WWE television since April, where he lost a bout to Mark Henry on his quest for John Cena’s WWE Championship. The Italian-Canadian superstar was rehabbing a neck injury prior to returning for that match in April, and the Royal Rumble in January.
Marella also opened a new training facility named the Battle Arts Academy in his time away from the WWE limelight.
