Dean Ambrose may compete at “Night Of Champions” on Sept. 21. As previously reported, Ambrose has been reportedly “missing” by WWE since the brutal attack he suffered at the hands of Kane and Seth Rollins during the Aug. 18 edition of “Monday Night Raw.” However, Ambrose is being promoted by the arena where “Night Of Champions” will emanate from, and is slated to be teaming up with former Shield teammate Roman Reigns.
Ambrose is not actually “missing,” as that is merely the angle presented by the company to explain his current absence from WWE television. As previously reported, Ambrose is currently off filming the lead role for WWE Studios’ new film “Lockdown,”
According to reports from PWInsider.com, shooting for “Lockdown” ends on Sept. 20, meaning Ambrose’s schedule would then be free for him to return to WWE TV. The Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn. is advertising Ambrose and Reigns as a tag team for “Night Of Champions,” which means they could be reuniting to face Rollins and Kane, which is why Reigns got involved with both Authority representatives during the Aug. 25 edition of “Monday Night Raw.” Reigns is expected to continue a feud with Rollins and Kane leading up to “Night Of Champions” on Sept. 21.
Editor’s Note:
Ambrose is my guy. Ambrose should be THE guy. I know Reigns is the chosen one, but Ambrose is already ready. Hitch that buggy to him, I’m serious. This kid is your next “Stone Cold” Steve Austin/”Rowdy” Roddy Piper. His talent will be timeless.
