*Smackdown Spoilers*
WWE “Smackdown” 08-22-14
* Randy Orton starts the show off cutting a promo on Roman Reigns.
1.) Seth Rollins def. Jack Swagger via Countout. Rollins hit Swagger with a Curb Stomp as Swagger tried to re-enter the ring before the count was to 10 and Swagger dropped to the floor.
* Bo Dallas arrives to tell Swagger no to be a “Jack Zero,” and to BOLIEVE!
* Kane announces that The Miz will face Roman Reigns later in the show. Miz originally had gone to Kane to beg for another shot at the Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler.
2.) Rusev def. Sin Cara. Lana begins a promo following the match, but Mark Henry comes in to run both of them off.
3.) Randy Orton vs. Rob Van Dam No Contest. Both men are counted out. Orton beats the hell out of RVD here. Orton hits the hanging DDT from the barricade, then hits an RKO on a steel chair.
* Roman Reigns cuts a promo.
4.) Natalya def. WWE Divas Champion Paige. AJ Lee comes out and almost causes Paige to get counted out, but Paige makes it back to the ring in time. Paige then gets put in the sharpshooter and Natalya gets the W.
5.) Goldust & Stardust def. The Wyatt Family. Goldust gets the win via victory roll. The Wyatts then lay the Dusts out following the match.
6.) Roman Reigns def. The Miz. Randy Orton made his way to ringside at the beginning of the match. Following the bout, which Reigns wins with a spear rather quickly, Orton and Reigns brawl on the outside. Orton attempts an RKO on a chair, much like he did to RVD earlier in the show, but gets a Superman Punch instead. Reigns looks strong as the show goes off the air.
Dark Segment.
John Cena comes out to the ring. He thanks the fans for their appreciation and love for WWE, when the Wyatt Family comes out. Bray Wyatt cuts a promo on Cena. Cena, Reigns, and the Wyatts get into a brawl, and the babyfaces stand tall to leave the fans happy.
