Former WWE Champion Chris Jericho has returned to WWE. As previously reported, Jericho was slated to return to the company during the June 30 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” and the former Undisputed Champion did just that, interrupting the return of The Miz.

During a segment which saw The Miz arrive as a returning former WWE Champion, Jericho also appeared, laying out Miz with a Code Breaker. Following his attack, he would grab a mic and pander to the crowd, making them delight in his presence.

However, Jericho would soon be silenced by The Wyatt Family, who attacked him and left the former champion lying in the ring motionless. Jericho is expected to face Bray Wyatt at “Battleground” on July 20. Jericho is no stranger to Wyatt, as he personally selected to work with Wyatt while he was still in NXT, the WWE’s developmental territory.

Editor’s Note:
Y2J is BACK, and Wyatt vs Jericho on a grand stage should be AMAZING.
