Cesaro is cleared to compete during the July 1 edition of WWE “Main Event.” As previously reported, Cesaro suffered an injury to his eye during the June 30 edition of “Monday Night Raw” while competing in a match against Kofi Kingston.

“The King of Swing” suffered a scratch to the sclera of his right eye, which WWE medial staff re-evaluated on July 1. WWE.com reports that Cesaro will be able to face Dolph Ziggler during the July 1 “Main Event” episode on the WWE Network, as well as work the July 1 tapings for the July 4 edition of “Smackdown.”

WWE.com staff writes,

“The King of Swing has been cleared for active competition, following a re-evaluation by WWE medical staff. ‘He’s feeling much better and other than a little bit of bruising around the eye itself, everything is normal on his exam,” said Amann on Tuesday. “He will be cleared to compete.'”

Editor’s Note:
Looking forward to seeing Cesaro vs. Ziggler tonight. Should be an awesome match, and Cesaro should continue playing the full heel character.
