As we get closer to WrestleMania season, one of the burning thoughts on many people’s minds has to do with who will be entering the WWE Hall of Fame this year.

And with so many great choices, who would be the best to be the headliner for this year’s class?

According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it is expected that Goldberg will be the headliner of the Class of 2018 for the WWE Hall of Fame.

He was last seen on WWE programming on the “Raw” following WrestleMania 33. You can see a clip of that below:

At WrestleMania, Goldberg defended the Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar in a losing effort.

The report also states that The Dudley Boyz were in consideration to be the headliners of the Hall of Fame class, but nothing has been confirmed.

Editor’s Opinion:

This is a very well deserved honor. Although Goldberg never had the most illustrious run in the history of professional wrestling, he is one of the most important figures in the “Monday Night Wars,” which is considered by many to be one of the crucial points in the history of sports entertainment.
